Warren Hall Coutts, Jr.
The Warren Hall Coutts III Memorial Scholarship was established in 1976 in memory of Warren Hall Coutts, III, by his father, Warren Hall Coutts, Jr., a prominent El Dorado attorney. The younger Coutts, a 33-year old attorney, was killed in an airplane crash in 1965 in Western Kansas. In addition to the college endowed art scholarship fund, his father created a living memorial through the Warren Hall Coutts, III Museum of Art in downtown El Dorado.
