Teresa Grange & John Grange
The Lee Roy and Teresa Grange Endowed Nursing Scholarship was created in 1992 in memory of Lee Roy Grange by his wife, Teresa Grange and their son John Grange. The field of nursing was chosen because of the fine nursing care Mr. Grange received from Butler County Community College nurses at the hospital. Mr. Grange was a long-time resident of El Dorado and a longstanding member of the fraternal organization Forty and Eight, a branch of the American Legion. Nursing scholarship was one of their endeavors. His son, John Grange , is a former college trustee of 12 years as well as a local businessman and active member of the college’s Booster Club, along with his wife Nancy. Teresa Grange passed away in 2005 and her name was added to the scholarship to honor her as well as Lee Roy.
