Mid-America Anesthesia Professionals

This scholarship was established by Butler County Anesthesia Services co-founders Tom McKibban (a Butler alumnus) and Kevin Jacobs. The name of the business was later changed to Mid-America Anesthesia Professionals as was the scholarship. This group includes Tom McKibban, Kevin Jacobs, Aric DeYoung and Jason Burk as Certified Nurse Anesthetists. Mid-America Anesthesia Professionals has been providing anesthesia services in Kansas for over 30 years in numerous settings including hospitals, physician offices, and pain management clinics. Providing a wide variety of anesthesia services ranging from light sedation to general anesthesia, Mid-America Anesthesia Professionals are also trained in acute/chronic pain management techniques, obstetrical anesthesia and post operative pain control.
