Lloyd Chapman

The Aldine and Lloyd Chapman Scholarship was established through the last will and testament of Lloyd Chapman of El Dorado. His only preference was that the scholarship bear his and his wife?s name, not be allocated to the athletic scholarships, and that the college’s Board of Trustees make a determination as to its use. In March 1998, the Board of Trustees assigned this fund to fill a need for scholarships for the completers of the college’s Camp Butler 2000 program. Camp Butler 2000 students must graduate from high school in order to be eligible for a two-year scholarship for books and tuition at Butler Community College.
