Debbie Lucas

Debbie Lucas established the Luke Lucas Football Scholarship in honor of her late husband Luke.

Luke was a lifelong Butler County resident. He attended Butler Community College. After Butler he worked at the Litton Charolais Ranch in Missouri. He later worked at Flint Hills Beef Feeders in Potwin, Kansas and at Pester Refinery in El Dorado, Kansas. At the time of his retirement Luke was working at Flint Hills National residential area in Andover, Kansas. Luke enjoyed his cow-calf operation throughout his lifetime. He was also a great supporter of the Butler Grizzlies, especially Grizzly Football. Luke loved antiques and auctions. His favorite past time was spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
