David Yearout

David passed away in 2022. David had a golden voice, having been the official sports announcer for Butler Community College for well over a decade. For many years David ‘bled purple’ with Butler pride, following the team across the country. He and his wife, Trisha hosted dozens of football players in their home. He even drove around the state for years in his purple PT cruiser! This memorial scholarship was started by his children, Jason and Tiffany, to honor their father and his love of Butler athletics.
