Dale & Nellie Corson, Burt Bowlus

Dale was Margaret Bowlus’ brother and a President Emeritus of Cornell University. He attended college in Emporia and then at the University of Kansas. Among his many interests were chemistry and physics. Margaret and her husband Burt also contributed to the scholarship, growing its endowment and increasing the impact it has on students. The Corson’s and Bowlus’ commitment to education has left a legacy for Butler students to receive.
