Bill and Carol Powers
Bill and Carol established this scholarship because their firm belief in the community college system. Carol attended Dodge City Community College prior to completing her degree at Kansas State University. Their daughter Hayley and son-in-law Nathan both graduated from Butler. This scholarship is to assist a nursing student.
Impact
My wife and I are committed to higher education having two children that have attained advanced degrees. We hope and pray that this scholarship fund will assist motivated and committed students who want to pursue a career in the challenging and rewarding field of nursing. We know Butler Community College’s nursing program reputation and the fine graduates it produces. It is our distinct pleasure to assist in providing opportunities for current and future Butler nursing candidates.
