Betty Carlson & Linda Peterson
Eugene’s wife Betty and their daughter Linda established a scholarship in his memory in 1993. Mr. Carlson was a community leader and owner of Carlson’s Funeral Home in El Dorado for many years.

The Eugene E. and Betty M. Carlson Music Scholarship is awarded to students participating in the music programs at Butler with a 2.5 GPA or higher.
